Almost Like Going to the Movies Back in December of ‘78
Johns & Donner’s “Last Son” would have been an incredible “Superman II” back in the day (if Kubert had been there to storyboard it this beautifully) and I couldn’t look at Gary Frank’s Superman in “Brainiac” without hearing Christopher Reeve’s voice speak Johns’s words. If you like the feel of Donner’s classic “Superman”, you might consider giving this a try.
