Survival

Survival is a poetic examination of one of the most heinous crimes on the planet: sexual assault. Some of the stories herein are real-life accounts, while others are fictional. However, it may be impossible to tell the difference because even the most improbable things have happened to one or more of the millions of survivors around the world. "Survival" is meant to give hope to those who are still on the road to recovery. In addition, "Survival" places the shame where it truly belongs: on those who commit these crimes. "Survival" is a reminder that there are things in life that we may never get over, but we will get through them.
