SURVIVOR: A digital serial novel in 12 episodes. Episode 9.

Dr Gabriel Proctor, chief scientist of the SURVIVOR mission, has joined forces with the rebels of the submarine world. He has tried to contact the "Free", another political group, who are apparently living on the surface. But the Free for some inexplicable reason name him a traitor, and afterwards nobody seems to trust him anymore. Proctor is determined to try and escape from the rebel quarter and convince the Free of his innocence. But Dai Feng, the leader of the Overseers, who had been taken prisoner along with them, has deceived the rebels and activated a tracing device. The Overseers arrive on the scene with a new fighting machine that puts both the rebels and the SURVIVOR crew at a dead end.
