Publisher Description
I don't like to be touched. I'm the hacker-geek-goddess of the FBI. When I'm hiding behind my screen, I'm a safe distance from everyone; isolated, powerful. No man has ever touched me, but when I'm captured by Colombian drug lord Andrés Moreno, I no longer have the right to refuse. He's scarred and scary, and his cruel brother Cristian has tasked him with breaking me. I try to fight, but I can't escape his strong arms and harsh discipline. He demands that I accept his touch, and my virgin body can't help but respond to his masterful manipulations.
The longer I remain trapped with him, the more I come to suspect that I'm not the only captive in his brother's home. Andrés' scars go deeper than the wicked furrows carved into his flesh, his pain reflected in the dark demands he imposes upon me. His obsession is twisted and wrong, but maybe I'm twisted, too.
Do I want to be rescued from him? Or is he the one who truly needs saving?

Awesome
Great book
"I love you. my Master. My Andres."
This cover is the perfect representation of this book...it is dark yet seductive plus Samantha has orange hair.
This entire book is told in Samantha's POV, after finishing the book I completely understand the powerful impact it has not having Andres POV but I was craving it at certain points. You can help but love Samantha, she is quirky, firstly, and a kickass FBI hacker! She wants to be the hero or heroine! I had conflicting emotions and at times was fighting along side her emotionally. This book is a complete mind warp of Stockholm Syndrome & actual love!
"The man standing behind me was no hero. He was my own personal villain."
The attention to detail in the writing and how the entire book was read was complete perfection. I truly grasp all of Samantha's wavering emotions!
"Rational mind: resist, fight, escape. Animal brain: pet me, hold me, kiss me. "
I loved this quote:
"But he hadn't counted on having me by his side. He'd only seen me in my weak attempts to fight as a field agent. He'd never seen me in hacker-geek-goddess mode. If I could get back to him, I could show him how easy it would be for the two of us to take Cristian down."
Insensitive 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
This sort of thing really happens in real life. This book mocks and lightens the severity of girls being kidnapped and assaulted. Some topics aren’t okay to write about and make light of the situation.
