British ad exec Dylan Locke isn't looking for love. He isn't looking for fate. He's definitely not looking for Audrey Lind. She's pretty, far too young, and overly romantic--in short, exhausting.

But when the girl, young enough to be his daughter, literally lands in his lap and asks for his expertise, he'd be lying if he said he wasn't interested. In her body, in her innocence, in her philosophy.

In the kind of kismet that starts with kisses.

But Audrey isn't looking for love either--she's looking for lessons, and she's certain Dylan knows everything she needs to learn.

If he agrees to play the teacher can he keep his heart?

Of course he can.

Then again, he might be lying.

Steamy and angsty older man/younger woman romance!

Sweet Fate by Laurelin Paige is the conclusion to Dylan and Audrey’s story, which began in Sweet Liar. Dylan has been thinking of Audrey but never dreams of seeing her again. Then when she enters his life again, though their chemistry is just as strong as it was before, he knows he can never be what she wants. But when she begins to explore a life outside of Dylan’s, can he truly give her up?

Dylan is an older man who felt love and relationships were way behind him. He believed he was a realist and did not believe in happily-ever-after and he was okay with that. Audrey was his complete opposite. Younger, full of life and still believes in fate, falling in love and finding your happily-ever after. When they run into each other again, their connection is as strong as ever, but Dylan knows he can never truly be what she needs or wants. Will he realize all he could have if he only opened his heart or will he let her walk away for good this time?

Though Sweet Fate by Laurelin Paige started a bit slower for me, I loved watching Dylan and Audrey maneuver their chemistry and relationship. The connection was strong between them, even as he tried to keep her at arm’s length. This older man/younger woman romance was a bit angsty and very steamy.

Happy reading!

This book is a keeper. It proves a man who lost faith in love man can overcome the odds with a chance encounter of a woman who believes in kismet......wonderful book. April H Jacksonville Fl

Disappointing! I’ve read everything Paige has written, but this was her worst. Very wordy like she was trying so hard to create the story, the female lead begging and throwing herself at the male lead which took away the interest in the story altogether. I just couldn’t force internet in the story and found myself skimming because of all of the fluff. Sex really wasn’t great either.
