Sweet Nancy

This book is a true story that takes place during a five year period in the life of the author.  While realizing her dream to move to Hawaii, she is also faced with the daunting task of caring for her mother dying of ALS.  In order to do so, she has to over come her past feelings about child abuse, and more recent feelings of aloneness and lack of self worth and direction that led to her alcohol dependence.  Struggling through being a full time caregiver and worried about the future, she learned to take things a day at a time,  let go of the control she thought she had, and just let life happen.  The miracles she experienced amazed her. She hopes they will amaze you as well, and into thinking more positively about your life.
