Publisher Description
When they asked me to stay, I only had one choice.
Hi.
I'm Melody.
I live with four vampire rockstars who would rather spend their time making music than hunting humans, and they're planning to turn me into one of them.
As the night of my turning approaches and our plans for making me into a vampire start to unfold, a villain from Rose's past comes slinking out of the shadows and takes her, leaving no trace of where they've gone.
Who would want to destroy the vampire?
And why would he haul her away?
We have to unite and do whatever it takes to save Rose before it's too late, but something tells me that three vampires and one human might not be enough to fight this creature.
Sweet Nightmares: The Sound of Roses is a polyamorous, bisexual, open-door steamy book featuring vampires, biting, and lots and lots of fangs. This story includes puns, humor, joking around, pop culture references, and of course, lots of drinking blood.
Customer Reviews
"Two hundred years of being alive and I still find it hard to share my feelings."
Melody is learning to embrace life off grid and outside the norms human society places on us, but even as she becomes more at ease living with vampires she becomes increasingly aware what vampires sacrifice and lose when they are turned.
Rose is haunted by her past, but when she finally opens up to Liam, Gerald and Paul about the threat that has hung over her head for decades she discovers the promise of safety and love that they have offered to Melody is hers as well... just because she is used to being strong doesn't mean she has to face problems alone. In fact, if you ask the other members of the household, they'd probably say alone is the last thing they want anyone feeling.
Violet is a delightful character. Melody's friend is a solid link to the human world, but more than tbat, she is a reminder to Melody of who she was when she first met the Vampires, and just how much she has changed.
I was gifted with a copy of The Sound of Roses and chose to share my thoughts.
