One love to save them both.
Life has never been easy for twenty-year-old Levi Carillo. The youngest of the Carillo boys, Levi is nothing like his older brothers. He isn’t dark in looks or intimidating to everyone he meets. In fact, he’s quite the opposite. Haunted by a crippling shyness and the tragic events of his past, Levi spends his days with his head buried in his books, or training hard for his college football team. Too timid to talk to girls, Levi stays as far away as possible and completely on his own… until he saves the life of a troubled pretty blonde, a troubled pretty blonde that might just be the exception to his rule.

In her world of silence, Elsie has given up hope that her life will contain anything but constant heartache and pain… until the beautiful boy she has severely wronged comes to her rescue at precisely the right time.

I read a lot of books and I will forever remember THIS book. I have no words.
Great, heart touching story, HORRIBLE editing
I have to say, if the editing in this book were good, the storyline is 5 stars all the way. I cried for a few chapters because I truly felt the characters pain. However, there were to many word errors, as in words spelled correctly but the wrong pronoun used! I would reread a section just to make sure I knew who was talking to who because it would be a male character asking a female character a question and it would say I asked him. Spellcheck is a wonderful thing but it can’t replace human editing!
Again good storyline terrible editing. If you can overlook obvious editing mistakes then I would highly recommend this book.
I don't know if it's just my hormones but I cried through about half of this book 😭😭😭. Levi and Elsie's love really pulled at my heart strings. Such a sweet and yet heartbreakingly sad story but wonderfully told by the author as she adds yet another sensitive topic for the last Carillo book. Thank you for bringing Levi his happily ever after!
