Powerful
I love a good southern book. I love the relationships she was able to intwine through history gripping you in. I appreciate learning the history and find hope in our future to do better. I haven’t cried from such engaging characters for a long time. The writing could be compared to the marsh with the tide coming in and out, it brought calm through the ups and downs. Great book!
