Sylph Etherege

'The Snow-Image, and Other Twice-Told Tales' is a collection of short stories by American author Nathaniel Hawthorne. 'Sylph Etherege' is one of these stories; which is about an orphan girl, who had spent her life, till within a few months past, under the guardianship, and in the secluded dwelling, of an old bachelor uncle.
