Excellent approach!

An excellent prequel to Schupak's "Baseball Coaching." Parents & coaches will get some excellent ideas in "T-Ball Skills & Drills."
The idea of keeping it simple and having young kids achieve success will not only help these 5 and 6 year olds have fun but will keep them coming back for more baseball. The creative drills are explained in detail accompanied by excellent color pictures. Drills like the "Recycle Bin Drill" and the "Bathroom Plunger Drill" have to be seen to be believed. Other creative ideas such as coloring the bases red, white and blue make it easier for the t-ballers to run to the correct base.
Schupak takes the throwing motion and breaks it down mechanically so parents and coaches have a chance to have most of the team throwing correctly. Safety is discussed as anyone who has been around t-ballers with bats in their hands know this can be dangerous.
Even without addressing issues like when players just stay out in the field and just kicks dirt, this book is a must for anyone who wants their son and daughter to have a positive experience from
t-ball.
