Publisher Description
Background The setting where we deliver male targeted interventions is an important factor in achieving engagement (Robertson and Williams, 2009). In recent years, there has been a growing body of work looking at health promotion in a range of different settings. Most notably in the field of men's health, there has been great interest in service delivery within the workplace (Harrison, 2007a; Robertson et al, 2008). Contrasting this, there are many fewer examples of the use of leisure settings such as sports stadia for health promoting interventions.
