Doesn't follow the normal Redwall formula. Very cool.

Great book
Has one of the saddest and yet briefest deaths in the beginning.
Jacques puts in so many plot twists, for example at first the vermin are chasing the taggerung and then they completely rotate and the taggerung is chasing the vermin and along the trail they run into so many different creatures.
Absolutely an amazing story!!!!
