The images in this book are original paintings on canvas. Each is a celebration of a special dog or cat, real or imagined. I brought these characters together in this picture book to celebrate the amazing animals that get left behind and forgotten every day. Dogs and cats in shelters everywhere; waiting for a chance to meet someone who will love and take care of them.
These short, furry creatures we bring into our lives aren't just dogs and cats, they're rock stars, super heroes, princesses, and dare devils. They're loyal, loving friends who write their own stories on our lives and in our hearts.
