When I'm not a test pilot flying for the U.S. Air Force, I can be found risking my life in other ways.
Skydiving. No problem.
Bungee jumping off a bridge. Like a pro.
Paragliding in Switzerland. Time of my life.
Zorbing in New Zealand. Fun as hell.
You see…all these life-risking adventures are not just a hobby for me, not just a way to pass the time. I needthe adrenaline rush like I need my next breath. I'm addicted to it. It's the only thing that allows me to bury my painful past—even if only for as long as it takes for me to come down from the high. All that matters is that I'm able to forget. And every heart-stopping moment of it was working…at least, until she appeared back in my life.
Both my worst nightmare and my wildest dream all wrapped up in one beautiful woman…a woman I was still very much in love with.
And that's not the worst part…
Linnzi Cunningham has no idea who I am. She has no idea how intertwined our terrible pasts are—and for that, she is lucky.
She doesn't remember the night when everything important in her life, everything that she lived for, was taken from her by the man who promised he would always protect her.
That man was me.
To love her is to forget she ever existed in my world.
Take Me Away is a stand alone novel.

Take Me Away is book 6 in the Southern Bride series by Kelly Elliott and such an emotional read.
Up next is Nolan and Linnzi, high school sweethearts heading to marriage in the future until tragedy strikes. They go their separate ways… Linnzi with memory loss and Nolan with a need for adrenaline rushes.
Eight years later they meet again...instant attraction follows but Linnzi feels like she is missing something so can they really find their way back to a second chance? Only time will tell…
I read this in two days and it was a roller coaster of emotions. Defiant recommend!!
WHAT A READ – I’M OBSESSED!
WHAT A READ – I’M OBSESSED! I’m pretty sure I say this every time I read one of Kelly’s books – but they just keep getting better and better! This book definitely didn’t disappoint! Nolan and Linzzi are high school sweethearts who were living out all the dreams they had back then, until tragedy strikes and Linzzi literally forgets Nolan and anything about her past. Following medical advice, Nolan and Linzzi’s parents let her live her life without telling her of the past, but after eight years she is tired of running and determined to find out what happened that’s caused her to block her memory. Keeping an eye on her from afar, Nolan hasn’t dealt with everything from the accident but when Linzzi returns home and back into his life, he has no choice but to. As she starts to act on the pull she has towards him but doesn’t understand why, they get back to a place that they were before the accident. But when Linzzi finds out the reason her mind blocked not only the accident but who Nolan is to her, we are unsure if it’s too much for her to handle or if she works through it and her life with Nolan. I loved this story – my heart really broke for both of them but especially Nolan and what he had to go through. I was so happy things worked out for this couple and they were able to move on. I can’t wait for the next installment!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
