Publisher Description
This mountain man knows his way around the woods. And how to use his hands.
Jenna:
I'm a big city girl hiding out in the tiny town of Whiskey River. I'm a runaway bride, hiding from my ex and my family.
The shy, virgin mountain man who sells handmade wooden furniture in town doesn't seem like he would try to control me the way my family did.
He's strange and beautiful.
Phoenix:
There's a reason I live in the woods all alone.
People confuse me. Women especially. Trees don't give mixed signals. Rocks aren't impossible to read. I work with my hands and keep my life uncomplicated.
Then she complicates things. With her, it's not hard to let down my guard and view the world through her artist's lens.
But I've been burned before. A beautiful city girl will never be happy here.
I know my way around the woods. Gorgeous women are a whole other story.

Take me to the cabin
Steamy story, editing needs some help.
Take Me to the Cabin
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
While this is part of a series, you don't have to read the prior one to fully understand and enjoy this one. I will say though that this book is written in mostly a dual POV format but Emelie (from the first book does have an occasional POV here as well. If you are like me, you may want to read it first.)
I really enjoyed this second book of the mountain men that reside in Whiskey River, MN. They are rough, rugged but with a heart of gold when they meet up with their soulmate. Jenna escapes her life in Denver to come to Whiskey River to live. Her rich parents have run her life to the point where she almost says "I do" to a man that doesn't love her nor she him.
Phoenix is a man that chose the remote location after his parents died on his 18th birthday. He is socially awkward and humble but makes the most gorgeous wood furniture. Jenna goes to a local store to get ideas for furnishing her new cabin and meets Phoenix. As the two spend time together, the sparks just fly between them.
This is a very sexy story. I did enjoy this one and look forward to the next installment of the group!
Mountain man
I’ve been reading this series and they are very well written. I always hate when the books end but am excited to read the next one. Great stories and the characters seem real.
