Publisher Description
"A total rollercoaster of conflicting emotions. This isn't a story that toes the line of dark...it jumps all in, head first. Read it and I promise you won't be disappointed." - K Webster, author of the War and Peace series.
"This is not just a book, it's an experience." - The Book Sirens
"Take Me With You is dark, twisty, and depraved. I really questioned my own moral compass while reading." - The Dirty Book Girls
I watch.
I study.
I prowl.
I hunt.
I always go in with a plan. A set of rules for myself. I don’t take unnecessary risks. That’s how I’ve been able to evade capture all these years.
But there’s something about this girl that is different than the others. When I finally meet her, the rules become a blur. And I break the most important one of all—I take her with me.
——-
It’s just my imagination—that feeling of being watched. That those icy eyes— a vivid turquoise with a distinct golden fleck—aren’t watching me.
It’s just stress. I am the person everyone relies on. Maybe that’s why I haven’t been feeling so content with my life lately. Why I dream those eyes belong to someone who can tear me away from all of my responsibilities.
But these are just shameful fantasies, never meant to breach reality.
Then one night, the dream comes true, only it’s a horrific nightmare.
Now, I only have one task: survival.
Trigger warning: If you need one, this is really not the book for you.

Struggling
Really trying to like this book because I’m interested in the story but there are so many typos just in the first 100 pages it’s hard.
Edit: finished, love the story and characters and writing. Just still not a fan of the typos and bad editing throughout. Still worth the read
Sam I am
Dark read with triggers so be warned. This is the story that you think could be very real. It touches on the damage that a mentally ill parent can do on a child. I think that is what has me throughout the book is that impact that not only Sam's mother but also Vesper's mother had on them and the way that it shaped who they were as adults. In the end it always comes down to Stockholm syndrome when you have someone under control for nay length of time you condition them and it becomes a part of them. So in a sense that is basically what Sam's mother did to him. The dark part of the story deals with rape kidnapping and deprivation so if these are not things that you want to read about this might not be a book for you. But if dark is your genre I would say that this should be on your TBR list.
Not for me
The erotic parts were pretty good. However, I just can’t buy the story. It was really unrealistic to me.
