Best M/M couple
I haven’t been as excited for a book as I was for this one. I fell in love with these two characters in ONLYand was beyond excited that she was doing a novella to resolve their story.
Wade Royer and Elijah Sterling are two very hot and passionate men. They are two men you never want to cross and them being gay does not take away from that. I think that’s what I loved most about them. Their story was rocky and very volatile in ONLY; it could have gone either way. They are both very stubborn so no matter how much they cared about each other they were not going to give in. Ms. Dimon really gave you a look into both their minds and how they work.
Eli has a hard time dealing with his sexuality and emotions because of his very hard upbringing then entering the CIA. He holds his emotions very close to his vest and it sometimes comes across as him not caring which is not always the case.
Wade on the other hand is just boiling pot of emotion. He’s comfortable not only in his sexuality but in his masculinity. He will never let anyone think he less of man because he likes men instead of woman. His relationship with his jerk of a father also has a lot to do with that.
This book has many emotions and heart-gutting confessions but boy is the sex hot. I am not one for M/M. I normally do not connect with them but Wade and Eli are the exception to any rule. They love hard and fast not only physically but emotionally.
A definite must read for fans of this series and Ms. Dimon. I just got my ARC galley for MINE and I am beyond excited to read it.
