This is the story of heiress Ricki Hamilton and rock star Axel Hawke. It's a story about discovering who you "really" are and at the same time, constantly worrying how others will see the real you. It's also about uncovering family secrets and then having to deal with them. Underneath Ricki's mansion is "The Dungeon." A place where the rich and famous can work out there kink in private. Ricki and her sister Gwen inherited it from their grandfather. In his will there are certain stipulations they must follow in order to keep their inheritance. They must keep "The Dungeon" alive. While Ricki's trying to keep everything together, along comes a rock star that is the Dom to Ricky's secret Sub. She's going to fight him Every. Step. Of. The. Way. Well, maybe not EVERY step.
Even though the subjects being dealt with are serious, the author never weighs you down with the heaviness of those subjects. I found myself really rooting for Axel. His attraction to Ricki was genuine despite his bad boy persona. This was a very enjoyable read. Don't forget to turn on your fan before you get comfortable. It's definitely going to get hot!
