Great if you understand concept
The poor review prior doesn't give this book it's due. Yes we all know we should practice to get better at something, the book is not questioning this. This book is merely making the reader grasp what makes someone great as compared to the individual who practices as much not. The concept is deliberate practice, and most give up when something becomes hard, or if we continue to practice we never push the limits of our abilities because we don't want it to be hard. Gives you insight into examples, as well as describing the length of time necessary to master a skill or goal which is mentioned in other books as well.
