Tales by Firelight

Come, little ones, sit with me here by the firelight, and listen to the tales I have to tell:

Deep in the mines under the mountain, Eric the young dwarf must save his family from being eaten by cruel, greedy goblins…

Alex creeps alone through the dark, haunted old house on the hill to get his mean brother’s model aeroplane back from the attic…

Sam grabs his hockey stick and backpack as he prepares to brave the zombie-infested streets of the city to search for the doctor working on a cure…

Lost somewhere deep in the New Zealand bush, Sophie and Paul huddle together for warmth as night closes in…

Complete with over 20 beautiful full colour illustrations, four tales of danger, suspense and courage await the young and young at heart.

Tales by Firelight features four scary short stories for children, perfect for reading aloud, and detailed illustrations inspired by the beautifully painted children's books of yesteryear.
