Tales Of Love and War

This book is about my young parents' Love Story during WWII.
By telling their story I denounce all the wars and all the leaders who want them. My Dad was among the Italian soldiers who in 1943 were sent to the front in Africa, knowingly sent to certain death or capture. The fascist regime leaders consciously sacrificed these young men in a last desperate attempt to change the outcome of a war.
My Dad was captured near Tunisi and sent to POW camps in America. Meanwhile my Mom, in Salerno, endured bombs, the Allies' landing and the retaliation by the Nazis.
