Talking to God

Prayer is one of the greatest gifts you can give a child — and it starts long before they fully understand it. Talking to God is a read-aloud book that teaches little hearts to pray, one five-minute chapter at a time. Across ten chapters, your child will discover what prayer really is, that God always hears them, that they can pray anytime and anywhere, and how to say thank you, say I'm sorry, ask for help, and pray for other people. They'll even learn the prayer Jesus taught us and what to do when God says "wait." Every chapter ends with a short "pray" your child can repeat after you or a simple "do" for the week — because the goal isn't a perfect prayer life. The goal is a child who knows they can talk to God anytime, about anything. Read it with your best storyteller voice, let the questions come, and let your child hear you pray in your own words. Ages 6–12.
