Publisher Description

An investigative criminologist, Christopher Berry-Dee is a man who talks to serial killers. In this book, their pursuit of horror and violence is described in their own words, transcribed from audio and videotape interviews conducted deep inside some of the toughest prisons in the world. Berry-Dee describes the circumstances of his meetings with some of the world's most evil men, and reproduces their very words as they describe their crimes and discuss their remorse—or lack of it. This work offers a penetrating insight into the workings of the criminal mind.

Very good!

This book was very interesting. The author does a great job of looking into the backgrounds and childhoods of these killers. His use of direct quotes from these individuals from personal interviews and corespondents made their story come to life. The only thing I would comment negatively on this piece, I found the author sometimes did not explain who people were (the people/victims) like a random name would pop up and I'd have to go back to see if this person was mentioned before (was not). But this only happened a few times, and it's not terribly difficult to figure it out. Other then this small editorial error, I would recommend this book to any one who likes true crime as much as I do!!!
