This was a sweet, fun and entertaining story with very likeable and authentic characters that you want to cheer on, hoping for that happy ending. The characters were well written with complex characteristics. The story line was good and kept my attention to the very end. The descriptions of the scenery and wildlife around the resort had me wanting to visit Lake Serene I genuinely enjoyed reading this book. I recommend this book to other readers.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Overcoming the Past for a Brighter Future
Vella has done an excellent job with this series by connecting people with hard to come to pasts and she has done it again with Shaw and Haley. They both have very disturbing pasts that they are having a hard time not letting it control their futures. Haley and Shaw are able to trust and open up to each other.. The end was a little quick for me.
