When Ellie Reilly returns from a dream overseas trip, a too-long hug from her best friend Jasper Cohen clues her in that his feelings might be more than what she suspected. Since returning from her vacation, Ellie feels like she doesn't fit at her family's ranch or in small town life. When she is asked to take on responsibility for reopening Trinity Lakes' historical museum - a dream she's always wanted - she can't help but wonder if settling for life in the familiar is all that God has for her, or can she dare trust Him for more?
Can these two best friends push past mistakes and insecurities and find a future together?

Genuinely tangled up
She wants to feel special and be loved. She returns home from her trip abroad to find that things are different. She is different. Her expectations are different and she doesn’t think the small home town has what she needs.
He’s finally decided to go for what he wants. But his timing isn’t the greatest.
I cried for him. I felt stupid with her. There were a lot of emotions brought out in this story. I connected with those insecurities and felt a relief as the characters found a way through. It gave me hope for my own insecurities. As usual, Carolyn Miller has given us a story that I can relate to and throw myself into. I loved it.
