Isa Farrington is a needlework restoration expert working in a museum when she is asked to travel to the Lamont Estate in the Highlands of Scotland to repair an ancient tapestry which is rumoured to hold the key to lifting the curse imposed by the original needlewomen.

I hate giving negative reviews, but I have no choice.
I do NOT recommend this book. It reads like a teenager wrote the story in a creative writing class. It is obvious that an editor wasn’t used.
The entire story consists of Isa traveling from England to Scotland for a restoration project at a castle. Effie hires her but her oldest son does not want her there. He treats her badly then apologizes. This happens over and over and over and over again. (You get the point.) He kisses her then is rude. This happens over and over and over again. Then he is suddenly on love with her and marries her.
Do not waste your time.
