Tapping into the Social Nature of Learning

While many consider social media a tool for making learning social, there are other strategies for improving reading, writing, and communication in a social manner. In this multi-touch book, we will explore the following writing strategies: Read Write Pair Share, RAFT, and Interactive Writing. Each chapter is organized by an introduction to the instructional strategy, instructional moves, a sample digital process using different iPad apps, and classroom examples. This book was created as a result of collaboration during the 2016 Apple Distinguished Educator Global Institute in Berlin, Germany.
