*~* STANDALONE NOVEL *~*
An assassin . . . that’s what I am.
I’m Wade Chandler by day and a killer at night. I get the job done no matter the cost. Not only do I hunt people for the FBI, but I’m also the owner of Chandler Enterprises, one of the top companies in the southeast.
When Brina Carmichael – daughter of the former president – wants my business advice, it’s hard to resist her long legs and seductive smile. One thing leads to another and now I’m in too deep.
I can’t let her know what I am, but I’ve never wanted a woman the way I want her.
However, harboring secrets comes at a price and I have a feeling she’s keeping some of her own. Especially, when my next mission leads me straight to her. Turns out she’s not who I thought she was.

Tons of suspense and full of surprises
This second book in the Circle of Justice series can definitely be read as a standalone but book one was just as amazing as this so it should definitely be read! This story had a ton of suspense and a few twists that I wasn't at all expecting. Brina and Wade are a perfect match and while I couldn't put this book down, I never wanted it to end. I loved the strength and protectiveness of both of these characters. I can't wait to see what's in store for the rest of the characters in this series!

Enjoyable
Kept my interest all the way through. The suspense was just enough.
Review: Circle of Justice 2: Target
Target by L.P. Dover is her second book in her newest series, Circle of Justice. A series of stand-alone books that are better enjoyed as a series but can also be enjoyed separately. In this installment we get to meet Wade Chandler and Brina Carmichael. He is one of the sons of a founding member of the Circle Of Justice team and she is the president's daughter.
While much of this story was your normal and very enjoyable meeting of two people, their hookup and then business partenership which then again turned into a hook up there is also so much unexpectedness that takes place that, mixed in with all the normal, creates some very wonderful twists to this tale. As always, well-written and well-paced by one of my must-read authors, this leaves me jones-ing for the next book in the series already. Enjoy!
