Taylor Swift: A Biography

In the 16 year span of Taylor Swift’s professional career, she has seen success, failures, and drama galore. From her humble beginnings in suburban Pennsylvania to Nashville, Tennessee and New York City, Swift has become a household name around the world. She has seen hundreds of award nominations and wins, as well as record-shattering albums, singles, and music videos.
Though she started as a musician, Swift’s career has taken her down many creative paths including songwriting, acting, and producing music, among many others. She has been involved in a number of celebrity feuds and plenty of drama (most notably the Kanye debacle). Along with the feuds, Swift has also made charity and philanthropic ventures a large part of her career and continues to do so.
Even after everything she has been through, Swift remains a beacon of light, a role model, and an example for children and adults around the world. She makes a concerted effort to be aware of her influence on young people and has donated millions of dollars to young fans in need. Safe to say that Taylor Swift is a role model in more than just her musical talents and abilities.
