A Box Office Smash, or Smash, as his friends know him, was born to be a show horse. He grew to be a champion. But there was something different about him – he was deaf! After he retired from showing, he spent his time hanging out on the farm. But his owner knew he still had so much more to achieve. When she heard about how the Houston Police Department’s Mounted Patrol Division used natural horsemanship training with their mounts, she contacted them. Smash was soon on his way to Houston. He had a lot to learn for his new job as a police horse. But he was in just the right place, at just the right time. Because when this amazing, special needs horse met a group of amazing, special needs girls, magic happened!
