Love triangle

Nat has really gotten herself in a love triangle. Really not her fault. I mean Demetri and Alec, are two men that are beyond beautiful and part of the band AD2.

There's a lot of secrets behind these two. Nat is really struggling when they appear. I liked both the boys. Though, I know we're not all, perfect they were really trying to heal. I could see why Demetri took to Nat. And the love she felt for both of them.

I enjoyed the narration, I'm a tad picky when it comes to audiobooks. But the narrator grew on me, and so much so. I already am ready to listen to #2 in the series.

Overall, I give this one Four Boundless Stars.

Annmric8 ,

Torn between two lovers. The love that is honest will win.

The story is progressing very slowly. I want answers. I keep reading and expecting to find out why the boys are in Seaside and why they are both seeing a psychiatrist. It's difficult to fathom why rock star brothers would both be interested in the same girl. I have not read anything special about Nat to answer that question. What is the ulterior motive? I keep expecting it to be a ruse. Maybe they are using her for publicity? All I can do is speculate because the author is not revealing anything. It's annoying and frustrating.

Nat can't have Alec because Demetri needs her and Nat likes feeling needed. Nat has feelings for Alec, but she is confused about those feelings.
Demetri and Alec are brothers and sing together. They came to Seaside for a break. It's one of five homes they own. There parents are dead. They are finishing up their last year of high school.
Alec wants Nat and Nat wants Alec, but he is trying to do the right thing and stay away from her.
Denial: always the factor in these love triangle stories. Nat is going to ignore her feelings for Alec and pretend he has rejected her and choose Demetri, but in the long run she is going to break down and become an empty shell because she has to fake her happiness with Demetri.
Nats mom is a psychiatrist and both brothers have weekly appointments with her. Nat still does not know what they talk to her about. Nat's parents are never around. Nat gets lonely in her own house. Alec is always worried about Nat and trying to protect her. Nat wants her parents to care about her like she does her patients.
I got irritated at how long it took to reveal the secret that I skimmed quickly through the last few chapters to find the truth. I wish the author had not waited so long to reveal the truth. It could have been a better story without the drama.

Dr. Beth ,

Wow! What an emotional book!

With this being the first book in the Seaside series, I'm sure all the books will be amazing! (Of course, that's what I'd expect from RVD!)
High schools is crazy enough, but when two georgeous rock Stars start at your school and both treat you like you like you're the star, what a teenage girl to do? How could Natalee not fall in love with both Alec and Dimitri? They're both perfect in their own ways. But both frustrating, secretive and confusing too. Will Nat be able to make a choice? And will it be the right one?
This book was so well written and the characters were so "real". I giggled and cried. It was just a beautiful story! Loved it! Can't wait to read "Pull"!
