Social scientists have carried out hundreds of studies investigating the impact of television on our society. Some people ask if there is anything good at all about television. 


For the Christian, one question overrides all others: What is the impact of television on my character and on my relationship to Christ? What place, if any, should television have in my home? Are there Biblical guidelines that I can follow in controlling the set in my living room? 


Television and the Christian Home is a summary of the major issues as they relate to the Christian way of life. Television is a threat to the Christian’s relationship with God, just as it is a threat to education and to law and order. But it doesn’t have to be. Used with discretion, it can enhance the Christian life.
