Tokyo's neon lights come in infinite shades. However, for one man, they only cast shadows-over a life numbed by alcohol, pills, and suffering he does not understand.

Chance encounters begin to unravel his suffering, drawing him into himself where despair, fear, and hope blur. As his nights deepen, so do the questions he can no longer escape: What is pain, and why do we chase it? What is love, and what does it cost? What does society take from those who don't belong?
