A fun improbable read
A well written entertaining book. The premise that a civilian would be a police partner or assistant isn’t particularly believable, but it works out, given that there are other fantasy elements such as Morty the cat and that the protagonist is a fortune teller. Enjoyable escapist literature.
Remotest in the tea leaves
Ok story. Did not like the ending. Felt sorry for stone. I understood why he didn’t want to work with her. She was an accident waiting to happen.
