Description de l’éditeur
The second book in the Sinclaire Brothers trilogy from Janet Chapman.
He’ll play by her rules until she falls for him...hook, line and sinker.
When an anonymous letter stuns shipping magnate and confirmed bachelor Ben Sinclair with the news that he has a teenage son, he's determined to make good on the past. But Emma Sands doesn't trust him.
The beautiful, fiery blonde has raised her nephew in the peaceful woods of Maine since he was five, and just because fifteen-year-old Michael is the spitting image of his tall, handsome father doesn't give Ben the right to march in and change their lives forever. Or so she thinks, until his return mysteriously unearths a dangerous small-town secret.
With Michael's help, Ben will do whatever it takes to prove to fiercely independent Emma that he can be the fearless protector she never knew she wanted... and the passionate lover she always thought she could resist.

Another fantastic emotion grabber!
The book is fantastic, but the letter from the author hit home like no other could. She relates her writing the same way I have to relate to people who critique and admire the iOS software I write. She started her writing the same way I started my apps, something for herself. Janet is a remarkable author, and at this point I believe I have read all of her novels. They are absolutely amazing, can't put them down books. They make you laugh, cry and want to punch the villain. This book was no exception! Pay close attention and you will find nods to her highland and spellbound falls series in here too.
Thank you for giving me so many great adventures!
Good one
I enjoyed reading about Ben, Michael and Emma. It had so many emotions! Happy, sad, scared, anger and love. It was such a mix of emotions and learning and getting to know each other, a father and son learning about each other and a girl with a years long crush getting to know the man from the boy he used to be. The author did well weaving you in and out of those feelings. I couldn’t put it down…the ending was good but could have been a little longer.
Tempt me if you can
Excellent book. My hubby said I was having way too much fun (I laughed hilariously). Yet, Tempt If You Can does not have the silliness of a rom-com. It’s more realistic with both fun moments and suspenseful moments. Well-developed characters and excellent editing.
