Right guy, wrong place. Extremely wrong place.
Mabel Bowen’s the goddess of morning radio, doing a job she loves with her best friend in the world. Why would a goddess bother with men when all they do is threaten her public image and her professional bliss?
Everything changes when she meets her station’s new accountant. Not a hotshot neurosurgeon or an Italian supermodel or Ryan Gosling undercover to research a role. A frickin' accountant.
Mabel knows dating a coworker’s a terrible idea, but Jake Carey’s meticulous spreadsheets and killer smiles are hard to resist. (So are the muscles hiding under his expensive suits, if she’s being honest.) Before long, their friendly coffees have turned into flirty lunches, then scorching late-night encounters that have Mabel rethinking all her no-romance rules.
But when she learns that Jake’s involved in a plan to upend her job, Mabel’s first instinct is to retreat to her safe single life. Is he worth the risk to her heart, or will she end up spinning heartbreak songs yet again?
“The right blend of sass and steam. Sara Whitney’s smooth, upbeat prose is a delight to read.” Elle Greco, author of the LA Rock Star Romance series
This funny, spicy workplace romance features a demisexual hero who falls first (and falls hard), a "wish she was my bestie" heroine, and the best dang dad band in Beaucoeur, Illinois. Like all of the books in Sara Whitney's Cinnamon Roll Alphas series, Tempting Talk gives you playful banter, upbeat vibes, and a very happy ending.

Loved
I had a great time with Mabel the sexy coed DJ and Jack the hot accountant. Mabel is leery about getting involved with Jake due to a past humiliation. Jake was not looking for a relationship but after meeting Mabel he decided she is worth the time. The characters are well developed and engaging and the chemistry between them is undeniable. The flow of the storyline flowed smoothly.
