Tempting the Cowboy: A Paint River Ranch Book by Elizabeth Otto
After taking a job on a quiet Montana dude ranch, ex-cop Rylan Frederickson finds herself surrounded by unbelievably sexy cowboys. Too bad the one she wants is her boss...and the single dad of a four-year-old. It doesn't matter anyway, because after a recent tragedy, there's simply no more room in her heart.
Letting a new woman into their life is the last thing Cole Haywood wants for him and his daughter, Birdie. But as Rylan's presence at Paint River Ranch breathes new life into his family he can't ignore his growing attraction.
When the sparks between them turn into fireworks in bed, Rylan's torn between the family she's lost and the one she may have found. Now she must decide if something that feels this good is worth the risk.

Love a good cowboy romance!
I can't say enough good things about this book. Rylan Fredrickson, former police officer, who lost her 18 month old daughter in a car accident caused by her husband, who also died in the accident. She needs a break from her train wreck of a life. She decides to take a job as a housekeeper on Paint River Ranch. Cole Haywood, Co-owner of the Paint River Ranch, single father of the cutest 5 year old little girl, Birdie. The story sounds typical but it's far from it. The tragedies Rylan has had to endure coupled with the hurt and betrayal Cole has suffered at the hands of Birdie's mother, make for some hesitant but EXPLOSIVE chemistry between them. They know they shouldn't but can't help themselves, which makes for some sizzling hot cowboy love scenes!!! But wait, can Rylan give Cole more when she can hardly bring herself to interact with Birdie, who means the world to Cole?
This is a MUST read! It's not your typical cowboy love story. It's better! Elizabeth Otto has written an amazing book and this reader can't wait to see what this author comes up with next. I love her writing style. The story flows smoothly with no hiccups. Even though this is not a long book, there is so much of a fabulous story packed between the pages that I had to give it 5-stars! This is one of those books that I can read over and over.
