Tempting the Heartbreaker: Hollywood Heartbreakers Book 1 by Christine Glover
This is Sabrina Maguire and Rafe Cavelli's story.
Sabrina is a former child star that is trying to make a comeback. She seems to get herself into some difficult situations. While on vacation in Italy Sabrina finds herself in big trouble that could threaten her comeback. Rafe, her brother's best friend, agrees to hide her out at his villa until everything blows over. He feels that this will not be a problem. Boy, was he surprised at the intense chemistry between them. How will they handle this intense attraction?
This story is a sweet and steamy read. I loved Sabrina and Rafe's characters. The book will grab you from start to end.
FYI, contains mature content. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Sexy heartbreaker saves the Actress
First off, what a great cover! I'm in love with it.
Rafe and Sabrina's story is pretty chaotic and never gets boring. Right from the first scene in the jail cell you are sucked in and have to know what could possibly happen next. The sexual chemistry is well built but the relationship could be built up a bit more than it is, you feel more the fling than happily ever after.
Sabrina is a very likable character for an actress, she's more down to earth, honest and helpful than one would assume.
Rafe is a bit of a closed book who does not open up much for us. He has been hurt deeply by the press in his past and you can't help but hope that doesn't prevent him from falling for Sabrina.
Without going into why, I loved the ending it cemented 5 stars for me, even with the lack of romance.
I'm hoping Sabrina's siblings get stories of their own. I'd love to see what is behind the scenes with Fiona!
