New Series opener
New entry in the Black Ocean Universe of Awesome Stories : )
Two siblings Jessie and Eric find themselves in a major time oops and need to figure out how to avoid some serious consequences and end up on the run. Several cameos from characters we know and love from the Black Ocean books.
Though a bit short, this sets up new adventures and will probably get more involved as it progresses. I enjoyed this book as introduction to new characters and didn't mind that it wasn't as in depth as some may have wanted.
Space, Wizards, and Time Travel!
In the series Black Ocean J.S. Morin built a great universe which has been the backbone to the Astral Prime series, Mercy for Hire series, and Mirth and Mayhem series. In this new series Passage of Time we are reunited with the Ramsey family. Morin’s focus this time is with two characters who didn’t get as much focus as Chuck, Becky, and Brad (Carl) had in the previous Ramsey centric series.
In Passage of Time: Tempus Fugitive Jessie and Eric hop forward in time and find themselves in peril on a core world. As I started reading this new series I couldn’t help but wonder how much influence an absent Chuck and fugitive Mort had on the “young” wizard Eric.
