Terra Power is a real company funded by Bill Gates. Perhaps it's months away from demonstrating a new clean energy source that uses and disposes of nuclear waste. This book started as a simple extrapolation: "What if terra works?" It then has fun speculating, what if people paid for a license to have children, moving to remote outposts? What if climate got really bad, really fast?
