Basic, and a little dated

This book is over a year old and is missing some features used in Terraform currently. It needs an update...

It is fairly comprehensive, but would have benefitted from examples for more complex situations, and more information on best practices, and more detail on explaining why certain things are good practice. All the examples are for AWS, the author only mentions most other providers in passing.

That said it is somewhat conversational, easy to read and follow.
