Publisher Description
Tommy worked hard to establish a life outside of his father’s legacy. Son to the infamous Delucia family, he’s the heir to a throne he doesn’t want. As loyalties keep pulling him back in, he struggles to obtain a clean break. Becoming a new man is just out of arm’s reach.
Naila is a sassy, headstrong entrepreneur with businesses in the Delucia territory. A chance meeting between the two has Tommy questioning everything about his life and what his future holds.
As circumstances keep putting them in each other’s paths, the two can’t deny the building chemistry between them. As passions ignite, so does the tension surrounding the Delucia family, catching them both in the crosshairs of an all-out war.
When the dust settles, there’s only one question remaining: how deep are they willing to go?
Customer Reviews
Slow burn
Naila and Tommy had a slow burn relationship that was interlaced with heat and danger. Overall, this was not my favorite book but I am glad that I read it. It did end on a cliffhanger so I will definitely be reading #2 to see how things progress.

Suspenseful Introduction
This is the story between Tommy, who is expected to one day run the Delucia Mafia Family but is unsure of the role, and Nalia, an independent woman who owns several businesses. There is instant chemistry between them when they meet. This well written book has amazing characters and a suspenseful storyline with a cliffhanger.

Entertaining
4 1/2 stars
Drama, danger, intrigue, and steam fill the pages of this book. The characters are many and they are led by two very interesting ones - a sassy, strong-willed female and a sexy, flirty, tortured male. The author brought reality to this book with the danger and violence. Include the handsome hero and his desire to keep her safe regardless of the impact on himself, you have a swoon-worthy romance. I'm hoping there is a book 2 because the author gave me two likable characters who I am hoping work things out. I need my HEA. I also want to see if Bear and Luca and Cam get their HEA. I felt like I was part of the story feeling her panic and pain near the end due to the very descriptive prose. The way the author wrote gave you a sense of what was happening but still left you wondering at the same time - maddeningly effective. I loved it.
