I enjoyed the story……but the constant bicker got to be a bit much. Angie and Lorenzo were obviously in love but they just didn’t listen to their hearts until the very end.

A historical romance that takes place in San Antonio Texas. Full of mystery and intrigue that will keep you turning the pages. Loved Angie and her sister, both strong headed women who are supplying food to the Texians. Lorenzo is a convict soldier. When Angie and Lorenzo meet, there is no denying the chemistry between them. Loved the banter between the two, had me laughing out loud.
Looking forward to the next book in the series. I am not a big historical reader but I did enjoy the story.
