Marine biologist Isabelle Barrow is excited about presenting her latest and greatest discovery at the oceanology conference in Texas, but when two men start following her when she's out alone, she doesn't know what's going on! Strange things continue to happen, and eventually she has to admit that someone is determined in getting their hands on her research before she ever makes it to that conference!
Matthew McGuire happens to be in the right spot at the right time to rescue her from her first assailants. He can't believe it when he recognizes her! His best childhood friend ... and high school crush ... Izzy! He has often regretted the fallout they had and losing touch.
