Great volume!!!!!!
The whole manga spinoff is great, but this volume was perfect in how it incorporated to the main manga!!!!! It doesn’t hide nor does it try to make bad things look “less bad”. It shows good and bad things happening and the characters react to them in a very understandable way. It’s very hard to find stories, especially spinoffs, that actually care to show these scenarios and not some filtered fantasy goody goody approach of making everything perfect by literally saying a few positive words. Ideally , talking things out should always be the first approach to fix/deescalate a bad situation, but realistically that won’t always work and I think that this volume succeeded in depicting a situation like that.
