The 9th Hour, by Claire Stibbe
A very good read, held my interest from beginning to end. I am looking forward to more of this author's books.
Unusual lead character in an unusual setting
I actually had to go back and re-read the beginning a couple times because I felt I was getting mixed signals. A foreign car, an accent, foreign internal dialect, all set in New Mexico? And, the foreigner was not a cowboy, nor of Hispanic descent. Silly me, it worked! I’ll be reading her next book, too!
The 9th Hour
With very likable and flawed characters it's a journey that takes them into the innermost working of a deviant evil mind. Quite a thriller and I could hardly put it down.
