The year is 2016.
In a world suffering from the effects of over-population: poverty and starvation in many countries, pollution of the air and water, and general civil unrest, Professor Douglas Manning, a neurosurgeon in Dublin’s Trinity College decides it is time to put his theories into practice; along with quantum physicist John Forbes, who has developed a revolutionary new power source, neurologist Joan Cary, Alan Dufrane, a computer programmer and Elizabeth Bentine, a rich entrepreneur.
The group set out to change the world and civilisation as we know it.
