Central Europe is devastated and thousands of people are adrift. Major cities are closing their gates in fear of the deadly Black Plague. Amidst this chaos, Nimue is looking for her lover, Wolf, the father of her unborn child.

Meanwhile, Arthur wanders the land of spirits, a place that grows grimmer every day. The task given to him by the dying Fisher King seems almost impossible and what's more, may cost him his life.

Even though they are worlds apart, Nimue and Arthur are fighting with the same goal in mind: to find the Grail that can cure the Fisher King.
