The Adventures of Coffee and Snuffles

Set in London, this beautifully illustrated book is about two squirrels who get whisked out of their tree onto a passing bus and end up traveling into the big city. Their quest to get home takes them through many adventures including being thrown into a fountain in Trafalgar Square and encountering frightening mechanisms in a clockmaker's workshop in St. Stephen's Tower (Big Ben).
